In sports, integrity and the protection of human rights are inseparable. They form the bedrock of a fair and inclusive environment for athletes worldwide. Integrity goes beyond following rules—it’s about ethical behavior, honesty, and transparency. Likewise, safeguarding human rights ensures athletes are treated with dignity and equality, regardless of their background. Upholding integrity means upholding human rights. It’s about fostering trust, fair play, and respect for every athlete.
This week, Integrity Sports International joined summer programme on ‘Sport and human rights’ jointly organised by the Centre for Sport and Human Rights and the Asser Institute and hosted by FIFPRO.
